A brief introduction to this site

What does SLI/SLO/SLA actually mean, how do they relate and why does it matter? This site is my attempt to collect useful information and help with answering these questions.

I have worked on making things more reliable my entire career, run production services, but my journey into becoming a proper SRE is linked to the topic of SLIs and SLOs. It took me a fair amount of time to realize of how essential they are to being an SRE and running production services in general.

But finding good SLIs and measuring them in a reasonable way remains a difficult challenge for me. I hope I can collect good examples that inspire us to create good SLIs ourselves.

In the long run this will hopefully expand from a view on SLIs/SLOs to how to achieve higher versions.
